TellMeDaily.com is Your Life Scheduler.

This travelogue explains how to use the Services in TellMeDaily. On May 6th our calendar shows the events that we added in our last travelogue, Enter Events.

Before we demonstrate the handling of services, we will delete all the Pickleball events to give us a cleaner calendar. To do that we click on any Pickleball event, finished or pending. Then we click on Delete all scheduled dates for this event.

All future events are deleted leaving only the finished Pickleball entries.

TellMeDaily was created to schedule your vehicle services. The other functions: Tasks, Events and Lists were added to become Your Life Scheduler handling everything you do. Still, the greatest benefit comes from scheduling your services.

Let's get started. Before you enter your first service you will need to add your equipment.
To start, click on Add➤ Service and then select Add Equipment. This form appears and we filled in our data.

Equipment Type: Choosing the type of equipment tells the system what maintenance services to offer.
Description: Enter the name that will display on your screens.
Units Type: Are your service intervals measured in Miles or Hours? If you want to add another units type, just email us and we will change the program.
Current Units: Enter your current mileage or hours.
Date of Units: Enter the date of the above units.

Click on Add.

Now you see the power of TellMe. A pre-defined list of motorhome services appears. This list will vary for each type of equipment you add. You may choose any service on the list including Add your own Service. Let's go with the most common, the oil change. Click on Change Engine Oil and Filter and then click Select.

Now you can change the pre-defined data to match your liking. You will enter the last time and mileage of this service and the mileage and time until the next oil change. We perform the oil change on our MotherShip every year or every 15,000 miles.

Next we'll add another very important service, checking tire pressure. We check our tires weekly regardless of the mileage. Click on Add➤ Service, select the 2006 Monaco, click on Check tire pressure and change the fields below.

Our May 2016 calendar now looks like this. The oil change does not show in May as it was past due based on annual cycle and coming up soon based on mileage. Check tire pressure shows on May 2nd, the last day it was done and is scheduled again on May 9th.

While the next tire pressure check is set for Monday, we will do it today, May 6th. When completed we click on the May 9th entry and see possible actions as well as the history.

We click on Finish. You can enter a note and change the date if you like. Then click Update.

That was pretty easy. Adding your equipment is quick and so is adding a pre-defined service. Adding your own service takes just a little longer but allows you to define any scheduled service you like.
