Week 805 - Palm Creek Resort & Residences - 01-16-2022
Palm Creek Resort & Residences
This is Palm Creek as we first saw it in 2007. We were on our way to the East Coast.
It was a one night stop over. But, we knew right then, that we found an amazing RV resort.
Whether driving in by day or returning home at night, it is a beautiful site to see.
We have visited 18 more times for 231 days (as of 01-17-2022).
From the map you can see how complete the resort is.
It is a mile long and 1/2 mile wide with about 2,000 places to stay.
You can't miss the beauty as you drive into the staging area.
You meet the park "rangers" here with room for 6 to 8 RVs to check in.
The main complex has the registration desks.
Down the hall is the Activities Center and Mail Room.
Also included is a library and computer lab.
Behind the main building is the largest of the four pools and spas.
There are numerous meeting rooms. The
San Tan Room is available for small groups.
The
Ballroom can seat up to 500 as seen at this church service.
Heading toward the golf course is the bistro, one of two places to eat.
The beautiful golf course is a par 3, 18 hole course.
1) The fitness center is well equipped.
2) The park area in front of the complex provides a venue for many events, like this car show.
1) The agility area is the largest of the 11 dog parks.
2) The sport complex has its own pool and spa.
3) The sports grill offers chicken, burger and sausage sandwiches.
1) Site 950 is the smallest in the resort with no room for a car.
"Pre-Car", this was our site as we were probably the only couple with only a scooter.
2) Our favorite dog park was across the street. Mandy would bark at 3pm when her friends gathered for
Yappy Hour.
3) Not glamorous, but it is great to have free car wash on campus.
There is so much to show about this resort.
We provide three links to see more in detail.
