Week 801-802 - Week 801-802 - Light of the World - 12-25-2021 - 12-25-2021
Light of the World
We began Christmas with a service at Calvary Chapel.
There was no better way to honor the Lord.
Then we walked the 72nd Annual Christmas Light Festival at the Winderhaven district in Tucson.
I'll be Home for Christmas
(Song written by lyricist Kim Gannon and composer Walter Kent, sung by Bing Cosby in 1943 Press the play arrow)
Dozens and dozens of homes are decorated to the extreme. This tree is over 30 feet tall.
Candy Canes abound throughout the community.
Biking for Jesus? Anyway you can get to Jesus is a good way.
Having a Blue Christmas?
Flying to Jesus here.
Not sure how the U of A Wildcats theme fits in, but God bless them.
This house had a snow machine that shot in the air but it wasn't cold enough to land.
These lights reach up about 40 feet.
Sometimes simple is the best.
Like the simple star in the sky that led the shepherds to Baby Jesus...
... who laid in the manger.
His message is simple but life saving.
"For unto us a child is born". Isaiah 9:6
Merry Christmas to all, we pray you remember the reason for this season.
I'm exhausted just thinking of all the work they did at Winterhaven.
But Jesus said in John 8:12 "I am the light of the world" and that is the best light show.
Merry Christmas
With love, Pete, Ellen and Mandy
