Week 427-428 - Thanks for prayer - 10-26-2014

Thanks!

We are in Redding, California waiting for another doctor appointment. After Ellen's eye surgery, we saw Dr. Rinkoff the next morning, one week later and at three weeks. Ellen is progressing well and can now have a normal life. We still put in two eyes drops twice a day. One of these keeps her eye dilated which allows the energy in her eye to heal, rather than being spent on opening and closing the iris.

And we are now allowed to travel over the Siskiyou pass. So we headed to Redding to be with Pete's sister. In three weeks we'll travel by car back to Medford for what we hope is the last doctor appointment for a while. We'll know after that visit when we can head back to San Luis Obispo.

Many of you have reached out with your encouraging words and prayers for us and we truly appreciate that. Prayer works. Our business had been very slow, but in the last few weeks it has picked up dramatically. This will help us pay for the surgery. We never worried; we just delight in seeing how the Lord works this out.

We'll get back to you in two weeks, hopefully moving and bringing you new adventures.
