Outdoor Resort Indio - Owner Lots

Last travelogue we reported on Outdoor Resorts Indio. It is a beautiful resort in Indio, California where motorcoach owners can buy a lot for their full-time enjoyment. This week we'll display the types of lots that are available.

Outdoor Resorts Indio (ORI) is an ownership resort. Motorhome owners can buy a lot; they own it and have access to it everyday of the year. And they can enhance the lot as they please as long as their plans are approved by the architectural committee. The original lots were just a slab of concrete surrounded by grass and hedges separating each lot. Here is lot 89 which backs up to Ave 48. This lot was offered for sale by the onsite realty office. It It was available March 2014, but is no longer on the sales website so we assume it has been sold. It is as close to an original lot as we could find.

Lot 111 has an enhancement of a small outdoor kitchen. This lot is for sale (03-2014) by owner for $37,500 and that includes the first year HOA fees. Owning a lot requires the purchase, property taxes, HOA fees and utilities.

Moving up in asking price is lot 376. It is a corner lot on the golf course. Corner lots are pie shaped and have quite a bit more property than other lots. It is available for $129,000 (03-2014).

Lots 245 and 246 are also both corner golf course lots. Each is priced at $169,000 (03-2014). Yes, these lot prices are high, but you get to live full time in a resort that compares to any 5-star hotel you have ever visited. And you get your own house, bedroom and bathroom and a huge outdoor patio. These patios are generally enhanced with outdoor kitchens, bars, lounging areas and covers. Lot 245 is shown below.

Lot 246 is well landscaped and includes an outdoor kitchen on the golf course.

Lot 190 is a double lot (189 and 190). It is priced at $295,000 (03-2014) and as you can see in the next two photos ...

... the outdoor area is extensive and inviting.

Lot 411, another corner, golf course lot looks a bit like a flower nursery.

But still has room carved out of your motorcoach and outdoor living. Asking price (03-2014) is $395,000.

The Property Map shows the location of these and all other ORI properties. You can see that the majority of the lots are on the golf course.
