Week 185-187 - Tour 2010 Interrupted - 03-14-2010

Good News, Bad News:

This is how far we got on our 2010 Tour, but now . . .

This is where we are now!

We did make it to Arizona to see the Ellen's relatives: Pete, Bobby, Ellen, Aunt Betty Lynn, Don, Kerry, Dennis and Jason.

And we got to Casa Grande to play pickleball, to Tucson for volleyball and pickleball and Green Valley (Amado) to play indoor pickleball.

Oh, and did we mention we played pickleball in Surprise. Then we headed home by way of Kingman AZ, Laughlin NV and into California. Through Hesperia, Palmdale, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and Avila Beach. We'll be in Atascadero on Tuesday. So what's going on?

Good News: Melissa is getting married in July! Bad News: No new travelogues for a few months.

Meet Erik, the love of Melissa's life.

On February 27, 2010 Erik and Melissa climbed to the top of Bishop's peak in San Luis Obispo where Erik proposed.

They toasted with a glass of sparkling cider and . . .

Erik presented Melissa with her engagement ring.

Congratulations to both and we are heading home to prepare for the wedding.

Our condolences to our fellow email travelers, you'll just have to wait. We'll keep you updated on this important event and when we might be able to once again share new photos from our wonderful adventures. Until then . . .
