Hello from sunny San Diego,

We started Tour 2008 by stopping over for a night at Rincon State Beach, just north of Ventura.  It is $25.00 for dry camping but the view of the Pacific Ocean is spectacular.  You are only a few feet from the ocean and can hear the waves all night long!


Then we spent the rest of the week in San Diego with Emily, Melissa and Chad.  Check out the view that the girls have from their dorm rooms.


Saturday we spent the afternoon at the Cabrillo National Monument.  The first two photos are from the aquarium at the top of the hill.  The rest of the pictures are the animals that we spotted in the tide pools.










The weather in San Diego was in the 60's to 70's but is cooling next week. So we will be heading to El Centro, CA searching for warmer weather.
