Week 63 - Home Sweet Home - 10-28-2007

We're Home!

So where will we stay? Part of the fun of our trip has been to not know where we would be the next day until the night before. We had planned to stay with friends, relatives and at county and state parks. However, we found that our Elks in Atascadero has complete hookups including cable and WiFi. So this will be our base while we are here. We appreciate the offers and perhaps we might want to change locations in a few weeks.

We began the week by seeing Nick, John, Harmony, and Andy. We also visited with Janice and Frank and Ellen visited with Carla. Emily and Melissa are in San Diego. Oops! No, they're not. The smoke from SoCal drove them out and they came up for the week. It was great to see them and it will be great to see you. If you want to visit, just call and we'll make it a date.

On Thursday we golfed at Chalk Mountain and we spent the weekend at Santa Margarita Lake. James and Anna came out for a visit. And Paul came and prepared a feast: a rack of lamb and tri-tip. Thank you Paul.

Sue came by for a visit.
