Week 61 - USA Map of Friends - 10-14-2007

Overcast Orisons from Oregon,

We are still in Harrisburg, Oregon, waiting for repairs at the Monaco Service Center. It is mixed blessings. We have a free campsite surrounded by fellow Monaco owners (that's good). The weather is mostly overcast (bad). Our neighbors, Ben and Sid, spent most the week here. We played Pinochle and Sid cooked a few great meals. (good). They left (bad) and the sun came out (good).

Now for our amazing story of the week. Last Sunday we went to church at Calvary Chapel in Harrisburg. We noticed in the bulletin that Jerry Lenhard was on the radio. We met Jerry and his wife Linda at the Arroyo Grande Calvary Chapel in 1985. And he lead worship at Calvary Chapel Atascadero for a few months before moving to Oregon. After the service we were going to ask if anyone knew how to get in touch with Jerry. We didn't have to do this as Pastor Jerry Lenhard was giving the message! This Calvary is the church that he and Linda started in their home. What a blessing. Jerry came by the service center for lunch and we saw him again this Sunday. It's a small world after all! Since we have not moved we elected to show a map with the wonderful people and places that we have visited.
